More often than not, people use the term, "I'm an atheist" as a fashion statement, rather than genuinely being athiest. Moreover, it is seen cool to be non-believer in God. And, my atheist principles come for neither reason. I do not say that there is no God. All I ask for, is, the proof. The proof is such an important word, for, whenever man has been unable to believe something, he has classified it into the work of God.
And the funniest part comes when people offer God for some stuff ("God, I'll shave my head in Tirupathi if I get this promotion..." What the hell is God gonna do with your hair!!! be resonable...)... Definitely, God isn't so cheap that he expects you to give him something in return of something that you want. Most people pray to God, only at their ties of stress; only when they need something important. They use God as their middle-man for stuff that they are too shy to pursue by themselves. The only word I can use to define this act is "Ridiculous"
Isn't it outright clear, to people that God is a vision of man, an attempt by him to explain the inexplicables. Put it straight, when you ask anyone who believes in God to define God, he would round about give you something like:
"The one who is responsible for everything that was, and is, and will be..."
"You want me to define God! God is someone who cant be defined!" (Sometimes, I really feel like kicking guys with these kinds of replies!)
"Oh, you want me to define God to you! Can you define love or humanity or blah blah blah to me perfectly? God, is an emotion even stronger than love or humanity or blah blah blah... So, I cant define it to you" (You know, a simple "No, I cant define God" would have saved a lot of time for all of us!)
There maybe a hell lot of other replies, but the one common to all definitions of God is that "He is someone beyond our scope of understanding". You see, that is the biggest problem with most of us, infact all of us. We limit our potential to an extent and get a false "contentment". Isn't the fact glaring at your faces? Or isn't it clearer than ever? God, is a tool used by man to define things that he could not understand.
At first, people said, God created this Sun & Earth and blah blah blah, because they could not understand the origins of our Earth. When science developed to an extent, people realised that there are more stars, more galaxies and more of everything than what we even imagined of, man got a bit shaky and again started mumbling, "Wow, How enormous God's creation is..." Oh, give me a break...
The problem is with the perspective of people. When someone died mysteriously, with no physical wounds, in my neighbourhood recently, people started saying, "Maybe it was the act of a ghost..." Finally it turned out that the poor guy had a cardiac arrest..
The simplest and the most precise example is the example of the simple mathematical concept, the infinity:
"What is God?"
"Inexplicable"
"What is infinity?"
"Inexplicable"
"At the end of man's reach, it is said there exists a heaven and a hell..."
"At the extreme limits of the number line, there exists a plus infinity (lets say heaven) and a minus infinity (lets say hell).."
We all know that the infinity, as the name implies, is no finite number, but an infinite entity which enables to simplify calculations, just because the inverse of Infinity is zero..
"The inverse of infinity is zero.."
"The inverse of God is the satan.."
To me God, is like infnty... a concept that man has taken up in order to explain his inabilites... he blames God for whatever he couldn't achieve inspite of his hardwork, finds solace in prayers and is grateful to God, if something good happens to him...
The more we seek into the right or left of the number-line, the bigger the numbers may get, but we shall never reach infinity.. But what is important is that, the farther we travel the number line, we only meet numbers and not infinity, and we will get only numbers, because as we know, there are no infinities... Similarly, the more we learn about the smaller atoms, the larger galaxies, we tend to realise that there are still no Gods, still no boundaries betweenn our universe and the heaven or hell...
"God And Infinity - Symbols Of Men's Inability"
Correct to the core. both infinity and god are unknown to humans.

The day you completely get youself will be the day when you'll understand what is 'god'..
